Our Story
We couldn't find supplements that actually made sense for fasting.
So we started making our own.
That’s how FASTED began.
Violet studied naturopathy and herbalism, then bought a one-way ticket to Costa Rica.
Ben had a business back home. Every winter he'd escape somewhere off grid and slow down.
Three years later, they met in the most unexpected way.
“Both of us, separately, were already trying to live differently.”
ClarityAfter 3 years of traveling, Violet ended up in a small off-grid community in Guatemala with no plans to leave. Ben ended up there too, on his winter break from work.
When he had to go back, he asked her to come with him. She said yes, but only if they kept traveling every winter..
Still the best deal ever made.
“Neither of us planned this. That's what made it right.”
Ben had been fasting for a few years. Violet joined him and felt the difference right away.
But finding supplements that actually made sense for fasting was impossible. Everything felt like guessing. Most products had ingredients that worked against the fast, not with it.
Nobody was making supplements for people who fast.
“We kept checking labels and putting things back.”
At some point the question stopped being "why doesn't this exist" and became "why don't we just make it."
Violet had a background in herbalism and naturopathy.
So we started figuring it out.
Creating what we wished existed.
“We kept thinking: why doesn't this already exist?”
We spent months ordering samples, testing ingredients, starting over until finding something that felt aligned.
We wanted to make something simple and clean, that held to a standard we’d personally feel good about taking every day.
And that's how our first product, Morning Edge, was born.
